DJD Fight On Mission

The Fight On Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to provide financial help to adult cancer patients and their families. The Foundation assists with paying for medical expenses, medications, and living expenses for families undergoing cancer treatment. Families referred to the Fight On Foundation will be reviewed on a case by case basis. The mission of the DJD Fight On Foundation is continuing the legacy of a remarkable man, Derrick James Dull, and to help ease some of the burdens of cancer treatment.


Kelsey's Dream

Kelsey was an inspiration to everyone who met her. She truly appreciated the never ending support of her family, friends, classmates, school, community and church. Kelsey always wanted to give to others. Her site strives to honor Kelsey and her all-too-short life by carrying it forward and fulfilling her dream through Kelsey’s Dream.


Gabe's Chemo Duck Program

Chemo Duck is a 12" soft play therapy tool, designed to be soothing and visually appealing, while mirroring the child's body during chemotherapy, without being fear-provoking.  This cute companion is dressed in hospital pajamas and a bandanna.  Chemo Duck is available with a a port or hickman and furnished with an arm immobilizer. Port and Hickman are the two different types of catheters used to carry chemotherapy into the body. Accompanied by a bilingual, educational book to explain how best to use Chemo Duck and also comes with a mini DVD with educational materials for parents.

Chemo duck is used to educate children about their treatment in an age appropriate manner.  The Duck is usually introduced to families by trained child life staff in hospitals, thus ensuring that families are aware of how best to use Chemo Duck.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has state divisions and more than 3,400 local offices.
